Christophe Reech Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Christophe Reech is the Chairman and founder of the Reech AiM Group S.A, an alternative investment group specialised in Global Markets, Natural Resources and Real Estate. Christophe has over 15 years experience in investment banks derivatives and financing. In 2004, he was awarded the Risk Magazine's "Risk Technologist of the Year" Award. In 2002, Time Magazine short listed him in its Top 25 European Innovators for his visionary concept and the following year Capital IT included him in its Top 30 European Innovating Company.
Prior to founding the Reech AiM Group, Christophe established Reech Capital PLC, an independent derivative valuations and pricing house in February 1999. The group was acquired by SunGard in 2004. Previously, Christophe was part of the driving team that set up and ran derivatives divisions at Nikko Europe, Commerz Financial Products (the former derivatives arm of Commerzbank) and Banque Paribas (now part of BNP Paribas). Christophe holds a Master in Mathematics and Physics.
Jerome Lebuchoux CEO of Reech AiM Research - Founding Partner
Jerome Lebuchoux graduated in Mathematics from the Ecole Normale Superieure in Paris and holds a DEA in Numerical Analysis from the University X in Paris. Jerome has already over 10 years of experience in Capital Market Business and was the Global Head of Quantitative Research at Calyon and the deputy Head of Quantitative Research at BNP Paribas.
Jerome was also a Lecturer in Finance and Probability at the Universities 6, 9 and 13 in Paris. In 2002, he was awarded the "Best Mathematical Finance Paper" by Europlace (along with JM.Lasry, E.Fournie and PL.Lions).
Piotr Chmielowski Chief Operating Officer / Risk Management & Operations
Piotr Chmielowski joined Reech AIM from Tribeca Global Management, a hedge fund owned by Citigroup. Between 2005 and 2007 Piotr was in charge of Tribeca's systematic portfolio of futures, commodities and options. Prior to this, he was responsible for the systematic CTA fund of MCM Investment Advisors, a subsidiary of Mizuho Capital Markets Corp. Until 1997 Piotr was trading over-the-counter US dollar fixed income options for Fuji Capital Markets in New York, where he started his career on Wall Street as a quantitative analyst and exotic derivatives structurer in 1993. Piotr holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Chicago, and a MSc from University of Warsaw, Poland.
Brigitte Reech Head of Business Development and Investor Relations
Brigitte is the Head of Business Development and Investor Relations at Reech AIM. Brigitte has been involved for 15 years in the asset management industry with major banks in Paris, Geneva and London.
She started her career in Paris in 1986 with Banque Paribas as a Private Banker, was in charge of investment portfolios for family offices and institutional clients at Paribas Asset Management where she was appointed Director.
She joined London Paribas Capital Markets in the private placement and structured products department in 1994 before being in charge of portfolios management for European institutional investors at the Compagnie Financière E. de Rothschild. Brigitte Reech was also involved of a portfolio of non-domiciled clients of ultra HNWI for Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch. In addition, Brigitte Reech was a member of the shareholders committee at Société Générale for 6 years.
Stephen Ashworth Fund Manager - Partner
Stephen Ashworth has 19 years experience in investment markets. He began his career at KPMG in London where he qualified as a chartered accountant. Moving to Citigroup in 1992 he was involved in proprietary trading of equity derivatives markets. In 1994 he joined First Chicago (latterly Bank One) to set up their equity derivatives desk which he was heading up until 1999 when he moved to join the Reech Capital group as a founding partner along with Christophe Reech. At Reech Capital he set up and ran their derivative and risk advisory teams pricing cross asset class OTC derivatives and calculating hedge fund risk. Stephen holds a BSc Hons in Mathematics from Southampton University.
Marc Blanchard Fund Manager - Partner
Marc Blanchard has over 11 years experience in equity derivatives trading and alternative asset management. Before joining Reech AiM, he was a Statistical Arbitrage Fund Manager for Equalt, a subsidiary of Calyon for four years. Prior to this role, he was the Head of Equity Derivatives proprietary trading at CPR Bank and was responsible for the proprietary trading in convertible bonds, listed options and OTC options.
From 1996 to 1998, Marc worked for the Banque de Gestion Privée, a subsidiary of Credit Agricole in Paris as an Options Market Maker and then as an Equity Derivatives Trader. The previous year, he joined Crédit Commercial de France (CCF) as a Financial Engineer and developed models for the Fixed Income trading floor. Marc graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and ENSAE in Paris.
Patrick Challande Fund Manager - Partner
Patrick Challande began his career in 1995 with Ernst & Young as an auditor, specialising in the banking and insurance sectors. From there he moved to Total - Trading and Shipping Division in 1996, acting as a derivatives trader, based in both London, and Geneva with respect to the North Sea and Middle East oil markets. Since September 2004 until February 2008 Mr. Challande has acted as a Manager at Addax & Oryx Group Trading Division, based in Geneva, where he was responsible for oil and freight derivatives trading. Mr Challande graduated from ESSEC in 1994.
Fabrice Jaudi Fund Manager - Partner
Fabrice Jaudi has over 12 years investment experience in the Capital Markets.He began his career at Dexia Asset Management as a fund manager where he developed the convertible bond arbitrage and long only funds from 1996 to 2003 representing an amount of $2bn. He was also in charge of credit derivatives activity. In early 2003, he joined ADi Alternative Investments to develop the credit arbitrage division. He set up, and was in charge of three credit arbitrage funds, leverage and Libor+ representing an amount of $1bn under management. The leverage credit arbitrage fund was nominated in the category 'Best Fixed Income Hedge Fund' by Hedge Funds Review European Performance Awards in 2006. Fabrice holds a Master in Economics and Management, a post graduate specialization in Finance and the Certificate of European Financial Analyst.
Sylvio Jaudi Fund Manager - Partner
Sylvio has over 10 years investment experience in Capital Market. He began his career at ADi Alternative Investments as a fund manager where he developed the convertible bond & volatility arbitrage division when the company launched in 1998. In 2001, he became one of the Board Members. In early 2005, he became responsible for the European and Asian investments within 2 Hedge Funds, 1 Absolute return fund and 1 Relative Performance fund for a total of $1bn assets. The leverage Convertible bond arbitrage fund was awarded 'Best Performing Convertible Arbitrage Fund' by Hedge Funds Review European Performance Awards in 2003 and was shortlisted in the same category in 2007. Sylvio holds a Master in Mathematics and Physics and a post graduate specialization in Finance.
